Cornfield, Winterset, Iowa

to the horizon…

We drove through Madison County, Iowa and found covered bridges, the Iowa Quilt Museum, and mile after mile of cornfields. It was really gorgeous and relaxing. I imagine farming isn’t relaxing in the least, but the visuals must bring some sense of calm at the end of a hard day.

Corn season should be here in about 2 months!
